Overview:

Always wanted to… spend your hours crafting perfect cups of exceptional coffee and delivering impeccable service to our customers?
You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that quality coffee is poured each and every time in the pop-up at our Dunfanaghy shop. You’ll have a warm and welcoming personality to build a tribe of regulars who keep on coming back for more. We’re looking for a sunny personality, great organisation and attention to detail.
We pride ourselves on looking after our customers and welcoming them into a warm and inviting coffee space. We’re looking for someone with amazing coffee skills to be our Barista and bring enthusiasm, energy and stoke!

The Role

 

  1. Arguably the most important role in the entire company, you’ll keep the customers sweet, and the bosses sweeter, by consistently delivering perfect coffee after perfect coffee in our coffee pop up, Captain’s at Narosa. 
  2. Have an impeccable taste for speciality coffee and blends. You’ll be the expert when it comes to all things grinding, extracting and frothing.
  3. Be the first port of call for every customer who arrives into Captains at Narosa. You’re warm and welcoming, and have no problem building a following of regulars.
  4. Have the visuals in check. Your space looks immaculate at all times, so when customers walk in they’re blown away. We’re talking everything from executing daily cleaning tasks in line with H&S standards, to frequent stock top-ups and deep cleans of the space.
  5. Keep a close eye on what’s selling. You’ll liaise with suppliers to ensure we’ve got what we need, when we need it. If that means 101 phone calls to couriers, you’ll be on it. The stock will be your domain and your stock checks will be on point. Colour coding welcomed.
  6. Take charge of the cash. You’ll be responsible for your own float and use our POS system.
  7. Have the non-negotiables nailed. Punctual, well presented, reliable and organised are all part of the tone that the Barista sets.
