This is a super busy role for those who love a challenge and are experts at hosting people and making them feel like they’re somewhere special. You’ll be supporting our busy HQ and handling all things retail, looking after our customers and organising surf school bookings.

We pride ourselves on looking after our customers and welcoming them into a really beautiful retail space. We’re looking for organised folks with amazing attention to detail to join our Shop Crew and bring enthusiasm, energy and stoke!

What you’ll be doing

The Role


  1. Report to the General Manager, taking ownership of your assigned tasks in the shop. You’re part of the busy team in charge of surf school bookings, check ins, and everything retail.
  2. Be the first port of call for every customer who walks in the door. You’re warm, welcoming and always wearing a smile, developing relationships with our regulars.
  3. Have the visuals in check. The space looks immaculate at all times, so when customers walk in they’re blown away. We’re talking everything from the daily cleaning of the shop and customer bathrooms, to hoodie folding and stock tidying. The details really matter.
  4. You’re a source of knowledge. You take the time to learn the products we sell including technical gear like wetsuits and surfboard accessories. You rep our apparel and are a keen advocate of the Narosa brand.
  5. You’ll know our surf lessons inside out and are handy at answering customer questions, advising them on what to book. You’ll also be a key part of check ins and will size up customers for wetsuits, and direct them to the beach.
  6. Have the non-negotiables nailed. Punctual, well presented, reliable and organised are all part of the tone that the shop team sets.
